1. What is BikePas?
BikePas is a bike and e-bike rescue and transport service in the Vancouver area. We provide safe, reliable pick-up and drop-off for bicycles, as well as basic roadside assistance and complimentary bike inspections.
2. What types of bikes can BikePas transport?
We transport nearly all bike types—including standard bicycles, e-bikes, long-tails, cargo bikes, and trikes. Our van is equipped to handle larger and heavier models safely and securely.
3. Do you only pick up e-bikes, or regular bikes too?
We pick up both! Whether it’s a standard bike, e-bike, or cargo bike, BikePas can transport it safely.
4. How does the service work?
Our scheduled service allows you to book a pickup and transport time in advance for your bike. Whether it’s heading to a shop, home, or another location, we’ll collect your bike at the time you select and deliver it to your chosen destination within our service zone. This service is ideal for planned appointments, maintenance drop-offs, or anytime you need reliable, pre-arranged bike transport.
5. What areas does BikePas serve?
We cover part of Vancouver, Burnaby, and New Westminster. You can view our service zone [here].
6. Do you offer service outside the coverage zone?
Occasionally, yes. Out-of-zone pickups may be accepted for an additional fee. We’ll provide pricing before dispatch so you can decide.
7. What are your operating hours?
Our regular hours are Wednesday–Sunday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.
8. Do you offer late-night or after-hours pickups?
Not currently. We plan to expand hours in the future as our team and fleet grow.
9. What is a schedule pickup?
A scheduled pickup is any service booked in advance with at least 12 hours’ notice. This is the standard way to arrange bike transport from home, work, or a bike shop. If an urgent situation arises, you may reach out by email or through the website chat box. As a small operation, emergency requests aren’t guaranteed, but we’ll do our best to help when availability allows. As we grow, more services and options will be added.
10. How quickly can BikePas arrive incase of an emergency?
We strive to reach emergency requests within about an hour, depending on bookings, traffic and location.
11. Can I track the driver in real time?
Yes! We provide a live tracking link so you can see when your BikePas driver will arrive.
12. How far in advance should I book a scheduled pickup?
We recommend booking at least 12 hours in advance to ensure availability. Scheduled pickups are ideal for planned maintenance, rides, or transport.
